Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how RevoAI uses cookies and similar technologies on revoai.ca and in the RevoAI dashboard. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They’re used to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and measure how the site is performing. We also use related technologies such as local storage and pixel tags; for simplicity we refer to all of these as “cookies” in this policy.
How we use cookies
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the site and dashboard to function. They keep you signed in, remember your active workspace, prevent CSRF attacks, and route requests to the right server. You can’t disable them without breaking core functionality. Examples include session cookies set by Clerk (our authentication provider) and Vercel (our hosting platform).
Functional
These remember choices you make to personalize your experience — preferred theme, recently viewed contacts, sidebar collapsed state, and similar. They aren’t used to identify you across sites.
Analytics
These help us understand how visitors and customers use the product so we can improve it. We collect aggregate metrics like page views, feature usage, and error rates. We do not sell or share this data with advertisers.
Marketing
If you visit a marketing page that runs a campaign, we may set a single cookie to attribute a sign-up back to the campaign so we can measure return on ad spend. We do not run third-party retargeting or behavioural advertising at this time.
Third parties that may set cookies
- Clerk — authentication session cookies for the dashboard.
- Stripe — fraud prevention and checkout session continuity.
- Vercel — hosting infrastructure cookies for routing and performance.
Each of these providers operates under its own privacy policy linked from their websites.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies from settings. Disabling strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to the dashboard. For analytics and marketing cookies, you can use your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting or block third-party cookies entirely; we honour both.
Updates
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. Material changes will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
